philosophical winds
Sometimes, people have higher motivations behind their actions. There can be a driving philosophy behind which projects get started and which actions get prioritized. I've gone through the past decade of my life like a leaf blown by the winds of philosophies. It's funny because I thought I was being smart and avoiding the common traps, but now that I've grown and seen more of the world I see that the wind truly is everywhere, it's just more subtle in its speed and direction in some places.
If you want to know where you're going, it's best to either guide the wind or to follow a nice one. Of course, it helps to realize you've been guided to this point.
I think I'll write a bit from this perspective, documenting places where I realized the presence of an undercurrent in retrospect.
